Getting wedding ready with Roco Clothing

It is Wedding season once again, of course there really isn’t a season for it but they do all seem to come at once, rather like buses.

Of course we don’t have an invitation to the Royal Wedding, I think it was lost in the post, but that’s fine by us as we have 3 coming around in the next few weeks in rather quick succession and that of course means new outfits.

I find Men have it rather easy when it comes to formal wear, they have one suit and one pair of shoes which they can wear with a different shirt and a new colour tie to make it look different. Us Women can’t do that at all.

I’m actually yet to find my wedding outfits but that’s just an excuse for another shopping trip! Not that I every really need an excuse to buy new clothes.

What I love about attending Weddings is dressing the children up, they actually love it as much as I do and given the choice Harry would wear a suit every day (it’s what he wears when Emmy dons her dressing up clothes, he grabs his suit to be Prince Charming or like Daddy).

With the help of Rocco Clothing the children are all set to strut their stuff on the dance floors while looking the part during the ceremony.

I wanted the children to wear the same colour outfits and after falling in love with a grey dress for Emmy then found a perfect suit for Harry in the same colour.

Emmy’s dress is an Alexandra Lace dress by Paisley of London, it features spaghetti shoulder straps and off the shoulder sleeves which I knew Emmy would love as she is getting to that age where she wants to dress a little older (although I’m not as keen so this was a meet in the middle compromise), the sleeves can also be pushed up over the shoulder if you prefer.

The floral waistband is tied at the back so is adjustable or can be completely removed if you prefer. The dress is made out of soft Tulle which has a rouched bust design and a skirt which all girls will love as it twirls around as you spin.

Sizing is true to size, Emmy is wearing aged 8-9 (she is 8 and a half). This is perfect for Bridesmaids, wedding guests, flower girls or even parties and retails at a very reasonable £34.99

Harry’s outfit is a 5 piece formal suit also in grey. It is a Slim fit suit from the Paisley of London range and comes complete with trousers, shirt, waistcoat, jacket, pocket square and a tie.

Harry is tall so I usually opt for a bigger size but was advised that because this was slim flit to try the age 5 and it is a perfect fit.

This suit is actually available in 4 different colours: Dove Grey, Grey, Navy and Black and is available in sizes from 12 months all the way up to 14 years.

As well fitted as a Men’s suit would be this makes every wear look the part. The trousers feature a hidden adjustable waistband and the waistcoat an adjuster on the back.

The tie has a safety fastening on the back which if pulled too hard will pop undone so there is no strangulation risk, this is a blue design with white polka dots on and the pocket square matches this.

Finished off with an Italian collar white shirt – I just love this little outfit which I think is great value at £49.99 for all 5 items.
