What happens to naughty children who’ve gone too far?

This dark and imaginatively comic musical follows a selfish little girl who runs away from home and discovers a magical menagerie filled with animals that used to be children before their naughtiness brought them to untimely ends. When the menagerie’s menacing proprietor tasks her to choose one animal to set free, she must decide which one, if any, has learned its lesson. But things are not what they seem, and is any child truly naughty?

This new musical, The Little Beasts was selected by Andrew Lloyd Webber as part of his new Work In Progress initiative, dedicated to developing new British musicals. These shows are presented with minimal props, set and costume so they can be rewritten and changed throughout the run based on your feedback.

I am giving you the chance to be part of the first audience to see this brand new musical and help in its development of the show by offering your feedback and opinion to the creative team after the show.

The show will then change over three weeks of public performances

This is a musical for ages 7+ with magical and innovative puppetry by Nick Barnes (The Lorax, Mr Popper’s Penguins).

The show runs from Fri 14 – Sat 29 July and I have 3 sets of family tickets to giveaway for this show (2 adults and 2 children OR 1 adult and 3 children) – please remember this is a Work In Progress show, the performances will be presented with minimal set and props to be able to change based on feedback. Visitors will be part of the first audiences to see this brand new musical and help in its development of the show by offering opinion to the writers themselves!
