How to catch a star, 10th Anniversary Edition Review & Giveaway

We love books.
Every one of us in this household.  They are everywhere, and someone usually has their head in one.
There are shelves upon shelves of adult books which have been read once, cast aside and won’t be read again. It’s a sad fact, however the same can’t be said for kids books.
They are read, re-read, re-read, again and again. Over and over…..sometimes annoyingly the same book over and over.
I don’t mind. It’s what kids do isn’t it?
Some books you really don’t mind repeating on a loop and How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers is one of those.
A fabulous children’s Author who is able to capture the children’s imaginations from the off.
How to Catch a Star is a book about a boy who wishes a star would become his friend.

We were very lucky to be sent a 10th Anniversary gift pack which included the wonderful hard back book, a poster, glow in the dark stars and some colouring sheets as well as a letter from Oliver Jeffers – we also received a second hard back copy to giveaway.

How to Catch a Star (10th Anniversary edition)
hardback book is available on Amazon from 27th March, you can pre-order it now.

We’ve adorned Emmy’s room with the poster and the stars and this book has become a bedtime book of choice, with both Emmy and Harry loving it.

  1. There were a few, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Tiger who came to tea (the tiger drinking all daddy's beer was really hilarious), and Thomas the tank engine. I wasn't a big thomas fan, but I had to read it often enough. I wasn't allowed to miss any of it either. She knew!
