Project 366: 20th March – 2nd April 2016

I did pre-warn you that this would be a 2 week catch up, I’m afraid I am a couple of days late writing this now though, sorry life has been getting in the way – after all it is the Easter holidays and I went away with the kids, my best friend and her 4 children – it’s the first time we’ve had a weekend away without Paul – he certainly enjoyed the peace and quiet and the kids had a blast, I loved being able to properly catch up with my lovely friend and we had a wonderful weekend – you can read about what this holiday did for Emmy’s confidence here.

Here is our past two weeks in pictures:

Day 80:
Grandad generally comes over on Sunday’s now to see the children for an hour or so, it was such a lovely day we all headed off to the park.  The children enjoyed it and so did Grandad.

Day 81:
Harry wanted to show off his sunflower, he planted it in Pre-School as a seed for my Mother’s Day present, we printed this off to add into a leaving card for his teachers as he left Pre-School this week.

Day 82:
I finally printed off a picture of Harry to add to our family tree, it’s annoying me that his frame has bubbled as it had been stuck on the wall empty for a while.  I will be buying another to replace this as it will bug me too much.

Day 83:
Making cocktails, all in the name of a blog post honestly – you can find the recipes for Raspberry Smash (contains Gin) and Prosecco Thyme in this post.

Day 84:
Packing chaos!!

Day 85:
Unwinding in the caravan – first day of our holiday to Walton-on-the-Naze, 6 children and 2 adults in a caravan.

Day 86:
The unwritten law of when at the seaside you HAVE TO go to the beach, in all weathers!

Day 87:
Easter Egg hunt at the caravan park – the kids loved it.

Day 88:
(sorry no photo – it was so stormy overnight that we packed up early and headed home, after very little sleep due to a shaking caravan and the noise of the rain we just vegged on the sofa watching movies today).

Day 89:
Apparently Emmy hadn’t been using make-up!

Day 90:
Harry was feeling under the weather with a stomach upset so wanted a bed downstairs for movies – he can still smile when ill.

Day 91:
Movie night and Barney wanted to have cuddles too.

Day 92:
A trip to Kidzania with 7 children – they had an absolute blast, you can read our review here.

Day 93:

Both children are now collecting the Star Monsters, Emmy wanted to pose with her collection here.  She has since added about 5 more.
