Project big girls room – Before

It feels like only yesterday I was pregnant with Emmy and spending my free time decorating her Nursery.

I knew she was a girl – I found out at 20 weeks.

Her name was picked not long after that.

However when it came to decorating her room I just couldn’t bring myself to paint it pink or girly.

I’m not sure why!

I don’t think it’s because I thought they could be wrong.

After all –  4 scan’s had confirmed a girl.

They couldn’t all be wrong…

Could they?

For whatever reason I decided on a neutral themed nursery room.

I opted for Cream & Brown and a Teddy theme.

Now, while the Moses basket, cot and changing mat had been replaced with a big girls bed not much else had changed in almost 4 years.

Pink has taken over

The teddies have multiplied

Clothes spill out of the wardrobes

Toys are all over the floor

Books are everywhere

This weekend, the teddy theme disappeared and made room for a princesses room.

Keep watching to see how it turned out, but if you really can’t wait you can look at our Facebook page for some sneak peek pictures.
