Now that Emmy has started secondary school, she has her own phone; well, she got it for her last birthday but for the purpose of having it ready for school. It helps give her a little independence as she walks on her own to meet her friends and me, too, as she can let me know once she has arrived and when she leaves. One thing she does like to do is listen to music, however, with earphones attached she has to have her phone out or the wires showing which then instantly advertises where she has her phone, this worries me, and even I myself don’t like doing it. Read on to see the new Smiggle earbuds.

Smiggle Earbuds Review

Smiggle have just released their own range of earbuds which removes this issue for me – they are wireless and connect to her phone via Bluetooth, meaning she can listen to her music without advertising where her phone is hidden away, and seeing as she always wears her hair down, these are pretty invisible while being worn.

These earbuds come in their very own carry case, which they go back into when not in use, and you plug in a USB charger to the case to charge these earbuds up. Available in 4 different colours (Black, Blue, Pink and Purple) and costing £30, these are perfect for Emmy to pop into her blazer pocket and use when she wants to (not in class, though….she has strict instructions on that one).

Setting up the Smiggle earbuds is easy, just make sure your phone or computers Bluetooth is on, turn on the earbuds and they then wait for your device to discover them. Once paired the first time you won’t have to keep doing so as they will automatically connect.

Other features of these earbuds are that they feature touch control, a built-in microphone, a wireless charging case and are water-resistant.

Smiggle have also just released a new range called The Beyond collection, which is a fun, vibrant and bold new range for the kids – making back-to-school fun and has something to suit all personalities.

The new range features Unicorns, Dinosaurs, Space, and Sloths with items from pens and pencils to backpacks, water bottles and even wallets.

Emmy was immediately drawn to the Black and Pink space range and picked out a lovely new water bottle for herself, while Harry was drawn to the dinosaur range and chose himself a Dinosaur drinks bottle and a dinosaur wallet.

The wallet is scented and has lots of little pockets and compartments for money, cards and other items. It features a silicone dinosaur on the front which is what is scented, has a velcro closure and a large zipped compartment. This costs £10.

The drinks bottle costs £9 and holds 650ml of liquid. It features a flip top spout and a long straw which reaches to the bottom of the bottle and can be removed for easy cleaning. Covered in Dinosaurs Harry just loves this design. This costs £9.

Emmy’s water bottle is a stainless steel insulated one, perfect for popping her water in for school, leaving in the fridge overnight then putting it into her school bag. It really does keep her drink cool all day long, doesn’t leak and looks fab too – I have to say, I can see myself getting one of these as it’s such a fun and cute design, and a great size too – holding 500ml of liquid. Priced at £15.
