While my children are still young, I am very keen to keep the magic of Christmas alive for as long as possible. There is only really a limited time left for us while they do still belive and we plan to string that out as long as possible. When Emmy starts secondary school in 2 years her belief will most likely be lost, but here’s hoping for a few more years.
We love a good old family tradition, and one which starts our Christmas festivities is the arrival of our Elf. He arrives on the 1st December with the mysterious arrival through his Elf door bringing gifts of the children’s advent calendars.
This year he brought along a new friend in the form of Elfie – An Elf for Christmas. Now while our Eddie Elf has always been mischievous, Elfie is a kind Elf who actively encourages good behaviour through reward charts.

There is a boy and a girl version of An Elf for Christmas, and there are lots of accessories available to purchase too.
You can purchase an Elf for Christmas Elf on their own or along with the reward kit. We sent a reward kit along with our Elf and it is a fantastic way of helping children enjoy the fun of Christmas while helping to encourage good behaviour – now, of course, it would be amazing if we had an Elf all year round for that but with the excitement levels running on overdrive it is a nice way of helping to calm the children while having fun at the same time.
Inside the reward kit are:
- Christmas Elf Toy – a limited edition Christmas Elf Toy
- An Arrival Letter from Santa – straight from the North Pole! This explains why your Elf toy is here. The Arrival Letter is designed so you can personalise it with your child’s name.
- Mini Elf Report Cards – report cards for good behaviour. There are also two Naughty List warning cards, just in case you need them.
- 2 x Letter to Santa Templates – have some fun writing to the Big Man himself with this official North Pole Correspondence. There’s even a space for drawing Santa a picture too.
- 2 x Official Nice List Certificates – with space to personalise the certificate with your child’s name. Plus, you can add a description of exactly what they have achieved.
- Christmas Reward Chart & a Sheet of Elf Stickers – personalise the chart with your child’s name and choose tasks you would like them to try. Ideal for household chores, tidying, reading, kindness or potty training. A fun way to reward good behaviour every day.

- Beware of the Elf Sign & Santa Please Stop Here Sign – just a bit of fun for your door to warn guests! Warm them you have a Mischievous House Elf!

- Departure Letter – from your Elf, thanking you for your hospitality. Perfect to leave out on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning when your Elf toy has departed.
- A Thank You Postcard – you can send to your children, from your Elf. Perfect for in January to thank them for looking after their Christmas Elf Toy. A lovely magical reminder of the fun they have had!
With all that included there is enough to keep the children amused throughout December and of course, you as parents can have the best fun with the Elf – we all love to see what those Elves get up to overnight while we are all fast asleep, don’t we?
There are also lots of other items you can find on the website, all aimed at bringing the joy of Christmas into your homes for you to share with your children.
One of which is a North Pole Sticker Scenes play set.

This includes four different North Pole background designs on 12 loose background sheets with more than 750 stickers to create your own scenes.
The kids have really enjoyed using these to create some adorable Christmas scenes, some of which they have turned into cards for their teachers – or in Harry’s case, a sorry letter to his teacher for drawing on the table.
We were also sent a lovely Christmas story featuring our lovely Elf – Elf’s First Christmas.

Inspired by and starring our popular Elf for Christmas toy, our Elf book will be a firm favourite of children everywhere. The Elf adventure follows our hero on his quest to find a family who’ll give him a loving home in the run-up to Christmas.
After helping Santa prepare for Christmas, our festive little pal goes off on his own Elf adventure. He leaves the North Pole to fly through the night sky, until he finds a little girl and boy who just can’t wait to welcome him into their home.
Promoting kindness, fun and good behaviour, this uplifting and amusing Elf book is told in charming rhyme. Accompanied by beautifully detailed original illustrations, our Elf adventure is a pleasure to read aloud and share with younger children.
December really is my favourite time of the year, the joy and wonder for the children make it all so exciting, and the added bonus of the kids bouncing out of bed every morning without the usual threats and shouts as they are so excited to see what their Elves have done.
