I’ve got an announcement to make….
A few months ago I applied along with lots of other Bloggers to become a Butlin’s Ambassador and on Friday 3rd August I found out I had been chosen along with 39 other Bloggers for this fantastic role.
It was firstly announced on Twitter which I had excitedly refreshing all morning, desperate for sleep as Emmy had been up all night the night before being sick, however I didn’t want to miss out on the exciting news so was keeping myself awake…….
Our confirmation emails arrived later on that day along with a shiny new badge which now has a lovely spot over on my sidebar (come on who had spotted it already?)
What does being a Butlin’s Ambassador mean? It means I will be enjoying a family holiday and then letting you know all about it! No holds barred – You will find out exactly what I thought of it from the accommadation to the entertainment and the food.
I will also bring you exciting news from Butlins from time to time including news and maybe competitions.
I will give you access to my holiday pictures and video’s too (however, I reserve the right to withhold the pictures of me in a swimming costume though!)
This is a very exciting opportunity and we as a family can not wait – Infact this will be our first holiday with our new baby boy, who as you know isn’t here yet.
I have already booked our break away and we will be staying at the Bognor Regis resort in the brand new Wave hotel next march. We will be holidaying with my
built-in babysitters parents, Emmy who will be 3 by then and our baby who will be roughly 4.5 months old (give or take a few weeks). I will let you know how buggy/parent friendly etc I really find the whole trip.
I have been to the Bognor Butlin’s many times as a child, my brother and I went as children with my parents and stayed in the old fashioned style chalets so it will be great to return as an adult with my children and my parent’s too. It has changed SO much since I was a child and I must say the children’s entertainment looks great. I’m convinced Emmy will love it. I also went a few years back for an adult weekend – a hen weekend, a completely new experience too.
I can’t wait to see the differences from my childhood and even since I went a few years back.
