I love Hama Beads.
I first started creating with them when I was Nanning – the children would love them and we would spend hours creating master pieces.
The trouble then was what do we do with all of the creations?
It was back then I made my first Hama Bead mobile, so when Emmy started with her love of these little beads I was keen to make a simple yet effective mobile for her to display her master pieces.
How to make a Hama Bead Mobile
You will need:
- 2 Wire Coat Hangers
- Ribbon
- Cellotape
- Cotton
- Needle
- Hama Bead Creations
Start by winding the ribbon around one of the coat hangers (leave the top), cellotape in places to keep from moving around.
Do the same with the second hanger.
Next thread one hanger inside the other and bend the hooks so they are in the same direction.
Cellotape the hangers together and wrap the ribbon around the hooks.
We also added some rose ribbon to our creation.
Thread the cotton onto the needle and attach to the Hama Bead creations – hang these onto the mobile and then find a perfect spot to hang this onto your ceiling.
Very simple and you can keep adding until it is full – then make a new one!
