5 Great Baking Recipes Using Chocolate Balls

Posted on October 14, 2022March 2, 2024

**Collaborative post**

Chocolate balls are tasty no matter how you choose to eat them. A lot of people simply eat them as-is right out of the package. When you choose a great company and a good brand, that’s really all you need, isn’t it? Of course, you might want to consider getting a little craftier and using the chocolate balls as part of your baking.

Let’s look at a few of the ways that you could consider using them. Simply add them to some of your favourite baking recipes:

  1. Chocolate ball cookies
  2. Chocolate ball brownies
  3. Chocolate ball blondies
  4. Chocolate ball no-bake granola bars
  5. Chocolate balls for cake décor

You can use just about any recipe that typically calls for something like M&Ms and substitute in the chocolate balls that have a candy shell. Keep in mind that like the M&Ms, they are going to provide a wonderful chocolate flavour that accentuates just about any dessert you bake.

You can find a huge range of options when it comes to chocolate balls, too. There are many colours available including white, yellow, black, pink, red, orange, green, and blue. These make for some great accent pieces to add to your cake décor. You could even create simple “pixel art” using these chocolate balls of differing colours.

Given all of the colours, you will find that there’s quite a bit you can do with them. Put together a Valentine’s treat with some of the pink or red. Have a Marvel Iron-Man-themed cake by topping it with some red and yellow chocolate balls, or maybe green and purple for the Hulk.

You have a lot of options as to how and where you can use these when you are baking desserts, decorating the cakes you’ve baked, and more. You might just love the taste and want to have some around the house as a sweet treat from time to time. You could pick only your favourite colours, or you could opt for a bag of assorted chocolate balls if you prefer.
